INSIDE THE STUDIO
Slate and Wire Ltd has been at this since 2011. The shape of the company shifted; the job did not: take a client sketch and leave a product in the wild. Designers and engineers share one bench, so a one-pager and a full app are treated as the same craft.
The culture underneath is stubborn: finish the details, refuse cheap speed, keep the engineering honest, and talk like adults. That is how a piece can look sharp and still do the commercial job.
